Bio
International prizewinner Danilo Mezzadri teaches flute at 吃瓜头条 and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, International Flute Workshop, and Festival Plurisons. He is principal flute with Gulf Coast and North 吃瓜头条 Symphony Orchestras. Danilo has soloed with more than 40 ensembles including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Pr贸-M煤sica Symphony Orchestra of Rio de Janeiro. Dr. Mezzadri's performances have been reviewed as 鈥済orgeous鈥 (Detroit Press) 鈥渨ith a limpid sound, and coaxing every ounce of lyricism鈥 (Jackson Patriot). In his most recent CD Epigrams, Danilo is described as having 鈥済lowing, golden tone鈥 and 鈥渧ivid musicality bringing each work to life, regardless of tonality鈥 (Fanfarre Magazine). Danilo graduated with First Prize Award from the EMBAP (Brazil). He earned a Master of Music, Master of Musicology, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Michigan State University.
