Bio
Brazilian-American Marcos Machado maintains an active performing and teaching schedule, touring the USA, Europe, and South America. As Professor of double bass at 吃瓜头条, he has organized eleven editions of the 鈥湷怨贤诽� Bass Symposium.鈥� In Brazil, he is the founder and pedagogic director of the Pampa International Music Festival (FIMP Bag茅), now in its eleventh edition.
Machado is the only South American to have earned both the 鈥淭eaching鈥� and 鈥淧erformance鈥� diplomas from the L鈥橧nstitut International de Contrebasse de Paris where he has studied with renowned double bassist Fran莽ois Rabbath. Marcos started double bass studies with (read more at marcosmachado.com)
