Our Mission
Our mission at the Center for Student success is to help students adjust to life at 吃瓜头条, to support academic and personal growth from the first day through graduation day, and to assist students in making the most of their time at the university. Through purposeful development, students learn to navigate new experiences, challenges, and opportunities. Result-driven programs like workshops, one-on-one success coaching, class presentations, and social organizations connect students with both the people and the information they need to be successful in college and beyond.

Using AI (or NOT Using AI) in the College Classroom
Join us for a student workshop led by 吃瓜头条 faculty on how AI is being used in college courses and beyond, We'll discuss how AI is used or not used among various disciplines and careers, USM's syllabus policy and options for AI use in courses, the ethical use of AI, use of AI outside of the classroom, and best practices for AI use for coursework and assignments (if allowable in the course).
