What Is the Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research?

The Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research (DCUR) at 吃瓜头条 supports all aspects of undergraduate research and creative activity, including community-engaged projects. Center initiatives are funded by generous contributions from its benefactor, Mr. Donald Drapeau, and from the Office of the Vice President for Research.
There are many opportunities for 吃瓜头条 undergraduate students to get involved
in research, creative or other scholarly activities, find funding for these activities,
or share their work on campus and beyond.鈥�

The Center for Undergraduate Research was founded in 2011 and became the Drapeau Center in 2016. |
Donald Drapeau is a 吃瓜头条 alumnus and a passionate advocate for undergraduate students. |
DCUR administers several programs that provide financial support for 吃瓜头条 undergraduate students. |

To begin your independent scholarly activity, you should first think about what you would like to pursue and then find a faculty mentor who can help you. |
There are many opportunities for undergraduate students to get involved in research, creative or other scholarly activities and find funding for these activities. |
Presenting your work in a professional setting is the ultimate reward for and validation of your scholarly efforts.
